3. Conformance Status & Ongoing Effort
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Monos is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional Level AAA Considerations
Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied select Level AAA Success Criteria:
• Images of text are used solely for decorative purposes.
• Re-authentication after a session expires does not cause any loss of user data.
Although we are proud of the efforts that we have completed and that are in-progress, we at Monos view accessibility as an ongoing effort. We are devoting resources to continually enhance our digital ecosystem.
